Cooking: Mee Bandung Muar

uummpphhh …… it has been years since I last cook this dish. Suddenly feel like eating Mee Bandung Muar. We went to Pasar Borong Sri Kembangan in the morning and then I cook the gravy. slurppp …. delicious that’s all my lahling can say…. then he lost his words as he was finishing this:

  1. Sorry Kay. Promised to post the recipe over the weekend. I was a bit busy. So if anyone would like to try this recipe (I got it from my MIL):

    Sebungkus Mee
    Cili kering dlm 20 tangkai (rendam & dimesin bersama bawang putih dan bawang merah serta udang kering yang telah digoreng)
    Belacan 1 inci
    Udang kering dlm 200g (digoreng dgn sedikit minyak)
    Daging 300g (direbus)
    Udang sederhana dlm 20 ekor (kepala dibuang & direbus utk airnya)
    3 keping Tauhu dipotong 8
    8 tangkaiSawi
    3 biji Telor
    Serbuk Kacang
    Minyak untuk menumis
    garam & gula secukup rasa

    Cara:
    Tumis cili mesin sehingga garing, kemudian masukkan air rebusan daging & air rebusan kepala udang. Kemudian masukkan garam, gula, tauhu, serbuk kacang & sawi. Masukkan telur masa hendak hidang. (Nota: Saya masak kuah dlm periuk lain, masa nak hidang baru cedok dan masak dalam periuk lain, then letakkan mee serta telur).
